How to run SLP on new TSPlus server (Scale Software)

  1. Log onto a computer in the store, using your normal username and password.
  2. Click on the Windows Icon in the lower left corner.
    1. WITHOUT clicking anything, start typing "remote"
  3. Click on "Remote Desktop Connection"
  4. In the "Computer" box, type "tsplus", then click "Connect" button.
  5. Enter your password in the password box (if prompted, enter your username also, which may come up first).
    1. NOTE:  You may check the box "Remember me" if you wish.
    2. Click OK
  6. NOTE: If you get an Internet Explorer security box, just close it.
  7. You should now have a new desktop.
  8. Click on the "Scalelink Pro 5" shortcut on the desktop.
  9. FIRST TIME ONLY WHEN RUNNING SLP:
    1. If you get a license verification window (temporary), click on "Verify later" to continue.
    2. If you get a "License verification is not completed..." dialog, click on "OK" to continue.
    3. If you get a dialog box saying that you need to connect to the database, click the BOTTOM RIGHT icon.
      1. In the TOP box, where it says "localhost", blank that out and enter "SLP-HOST" (without the quotes).
      2. Continue with OK at bottom.
  10. At this point, you should have the User Login screen.  Proceed as you normally would.
