When a Toshiba SurePOS touch screen gets out of calibration (pointer does not go where your fingers go), do these steps:
- Shut down the entire computer system.
- Power off the UPS that is powering the lane & counter scanner/scale.
- Use a screen wipe to clean entire screen.
- Use same wipe to clean the 1/4" ledge around the edge of the screen VERY clean.
- Press and hold the touch screen power button (under the lower right corner) for 30-60 seconds to drain the screen's power.
- Turn on the UPS.
- Turn on the computer (press the power button on the right front of the small gray computer box.
- Test the touch screen all over. It should be better now.
