How to access ScreenConnect (AKA ConnectWise)

NOTE:  Some steps may vary.  ALSO... This only works for users who have been authorized and set up for use.

  1. Open your browser and go to https://guidos.screenconnect.com
  2. In the top right corner, click on "Login".
  3. Click on "Connect with Guido's Email".
  4. If you're not already logged into Outlook Webmail from your computer, enter your Guido's email address, then click "Next".
  5. Select "Work or school account".
  6. Enter your Guido's login password.
  7. You may say either "Yes" or "No" to the "Stay signed in?" question.
  8. The first time, you may be asked to download and install an app.  Allow your computer to do this, and CHECK the box to always allow this.
  9. After the app is installed, you should see a screen with an "Access" in the upper left corner.
  10. You may see your computers in the CENTER column of the screen.  If not, click on the "Access" link.

To access one of your computers:
  1. There is an image of a person with a headset on in the center column, where your computers are listed.
  2. MAKE SURE that the line next to that image is GREY (NOT GREEN).  If it is GREEN, that computer is in use.
  3. Double-click on one of the lines/sections showing a computer that is NOT in use.  Alternatively, you may click on "Join" at the top AFTER single-clicking to select one computer.
  4. NOTE:  This MAY be where you are asked to download and install an app, as in #8 above... do so and check "always allow".
  5. Once the computer comes up on your screen, you can click the "lightning bolt" icon  at the top to "Send CTRL-ALT-DEL" which will bring up the login screen.
  6. Enter your username and password as if you are logging into a computer at the store.
  7. Wait for your desktop to appear.
