NOTE: Some steps may vary. ALSO... This only works for users who have been authorized and set up for use.
- Open your browser and go to https://guidos.screenconnect.com
- In the top right corner, click on "Login".
- Click on "Connect with Guido's Email".
- If you're not already logged into Outlook Webmail from your computer, enter your Guido's email address, then click "Next".
- Select "Work or school account".
- Enter your Guido's login password.
- You may say either "Yes" or "No" to the "Stay signed in?" question.
- The first time, you may be asked to download and install an app. Allow your computer to do this, and CHECK the box to always allow this.
- After the app is installed, you should see a screen with an "Access" in the upper left corner.
- You may see your computers in the CENTER column of the screen. If not, click on the "Access" link.
To access one of your computers:
- There is an image of a person with a headset on in the center column, where your computers are listed.
- MAKE SURE that the line next to that image is GREY (NOT GREEN). If it is GREEN, that computer is in use.
- Double-click on one of the lines/sections showing a computer that is NOT in use. Alternatively, you may click on "Join" at the top AFTER single-clicking to select one computer.
- NOTE: This MAY be where you are asked to download and install an app, as in #8 above... do so and check "always allow".
- Once the computer comes up on your screen, you can click the "lightning bolt" icon
at the top to "Send CTRL-ALT-DEL" which will bring up the login screen.
- Enter your username and password as if you are logging into a computer at the store.
- Wait for your desktop to appear.
